April 29th-Prompt: What challenges did your group face while selecting and analyzing sources, and how did you overcome them? Be specific about how your group communicated and worked through disagreements.

 Response- The day we mainly chose sources I wasn't at school but when I was there a different day things did go smoothly as we didn't have any disagreements and chose some of our sources. The most challenging part was probably just choosing the top sources out of all of them that we found. Summary- Things went smoothly choosing the sources. Reflection- Had to choose a limited amount of our sources for the research assignment.

April 27th-Prompt: Reflect on your research topic and identify the most compelling issue connected to it. Clearly explain what the issue is and discuss why you find it particularly interesting or important. Support your response with specific details from your research.

 Response- My research topic was Freedom of speech vs Cancel culture. One of the main issues was the effects of cancel culture on society/ a person. Some may view it as public shaming while others see it as people being held accountable, to force change. I find this viewpoint of my topic so interesting because it's so common and I see it happens often whether it be online in tik tok or in person. Summary- Cancel culture viewpoint is one of the main issues and something that interests me. Reflection- Worked on research assignment.

April 23rd-Prompt: Which part of the annotated bibliography (summary, reflection, or evaluation) was the most challenging for you, and why? Explain how that challenge helped you grow as a researcher and how it will help you when writing your research paper.

 Response- The evaluation was the hardest for me because I had to go over and analyze the entire source so it was a bit more challenging then doing the summary and reflection because im used to practicing summary/evaluation for my blog posts. Summary- The evaluation was the most challenging reflection- We worked on annotated bibliography for our sources.

April 21st-Prompt: As you gathered sources, you were expected to find multiple perspectives on your topic. What differences did you notice between your sources? Explain how these differences helped you better understand the complexity of your issue.

Response- The sources I got had two different perspectives, mainly one side opposed to cancel culture and the affects, and the other side talked about freedom of speech and its limits. The different sides of each source helped me understand both perspectives of the issue. Summary- Showed me both perspectives of the question Reflection- In class we did research on our topics with the website and added to our folder.

April 20th- Think about your experience using GALILEO to find sources. How was this different from how you have searched for information in the past? Explain how using specific search strategies and evaluating sources impacted the quality of what you found.

Response- Its different from just searching on google and clicking a website, because GALILEO gives you trusted and verified sources. It also gives you an option to select categories for your question, so you can get a more accurate answer/ source. Summary- Its much more specific and gives trusted sources. Reflection- In class we used the GALILEO website to find sources
