Sep 5- You are currently working on a soundtrack for selected Emily Dickinson poems. With that in mind, if asked to choose a song to describe your life right now, which song would you select and why?

 Response- I would choose the song "New Person, Same Old Mistakes" By Tame Impala, to describe my life. I chose the song because by the title it tells everything.


Summary- I have changed as a person since when I first started out in high school but I feel like I have still repeated the same types of bad decisions. But as of now I'm in a good place, the song has an upbeat rhythm to it and the lyrics are really relatable.


Reflection- I am happy where I am now, but in the future I hope I can relate to a better song.

sep 22- Write about a time when you were judged unfairly.

 Response- A time I was wrongfully judged was when I first started working at chick-fila. WE were understaffed and I was working at my register alone and there was a line. The guy I was swerving wanted to change his order and to cancel out his original order I needed the manager key card. But I couldn't find the manager and while I was waiting a lady in line had been giving nasty comments and looking at me weird. She would yell things like "They need some more people from the back of what's this little girl doing upfront by herself". Once I had finally got the key card and I could help the next guest, when it was her turn she had given me a dirty look and asked if it was my first day. I have a lot of stories of customers being rude and entitled summary- In this situation it wasn't my fault because I needed the key card and couldn't find my manager and she didn't need to be making all those comments over a 3 minute wait.
