Oct 28- Describe a time when you had to set or respect a boundary with a friend, family member, or classmate. How did it help or hurt your connection with that person?

Response- When I first started working I had to set boundaries with one of my coworkers. He was acting to close to me and after a while I had to set a boundary. Summary- It negatively impacted my relations with him as he started being rude. But overtime we've become friends and are now on good terms. Reflection- I think setting boundaries are necessary in certain situations, and they're not always going to have a positive/good impact.

Oct 24-Prompt: As we think about our upcoming Vocabulary Monday, tell me what is your favorite word RIGHT NOW? Why is it your faovorite word and how often do you use it?

Response- If I had to think of a favorite word it would probably be "like". I use it everyday, and its probably not good to have in my vocabulary. Summary- It's a bad habit to use the word constantly but its become a part of my vocabulary overtime Reflection- I should probably find a new favorite word soon and I wonder what all my classmates favorite words are as well.

Oct 23-How does imagination help you cope with challenges, boredom, or stress?

Response- I like to daydream and sleep a lot because it feels like a break from my responsibilities, like a mini paradise. Summary- I really enjoy doing this because it helps me feel calmed and when daydreaming it helps me with boredom, even though it may not be the best thing to do during school. Reflection- I think a lot of people do this to get a break from reality and relieve stress and other life struggles.

Oct 21- What made the situation risky, and how did your concentration affect the outcome?

Response- My dad used to take me to the beach growing up as a kid and we would go into the ocean. He took me to the deep end of the ocean and people started screaming shark and running out the water. I was far away from my dad so I was very scared but he ended up snatching me and getting me out of the water safely. Summary- It was very stressful especially as a kid, and I had to focus on getting to safety without being eaten by a shark. Reflection- There's probably going to be far worse situations in the future for me, so I just hope I'll be prepared for when a situation like that occurs.

Oct 20-Write about what you did over the Fall Break.

Response- During the break I mostly just chilled and worked. But I did hang out with an old friend and me and her went to six flags fright night fest and that was super fun. Summary- I'm glad I got the break, I needed some time off school to get my life straight and a little reset. Reflection- I'm super ready for Christmas break, and I wonder what my classmates did for the fall break.

Oct 10-How do you find time to enjoy your day, even when you have a lot going on

Response- Some things I like to do when I have a busy day is to listen to music while I do my work, Watch movies with my dog when I get home and talking to my best friend makes my day better. Summary- Even when I'm having a bad stressful day the most helpful thing to help me enjoy my day is talking to my friend. She's always there when im bored or want to talk to someone. Reflection- Im sure in the future I'll find other things to help me enjoy or relive my stress throughout a busy day.

Oct 9-Describe a time when someone’s words had a lasting impact on you.

Response- When I first started working at my job we had a lot of trainers. One of the trainers took me to clean the bathrooms and it smelled rancid and I was complaining. He told me that I complained to much and that I needed to actually do the work and not to be lazy. Summary- After that I stopped complaining and lock in on my work. Later on more recently my coworker had complemented me that I do very well on the dink station and that I never complain. Reflection- I think this was needed and I hope in the future there's more instances like this that give me a reality check.

Oct 7-Write about a moment when you had to step out of your comfort zone.

response- To get my job I had to record a 3 minute video of myself. In the video I had to introduce myself and explain why I want the job and why they should hire me. Summary- It wasn't the content of the video but I was nervous to record myself and send it to them. But it was necessary to get employee and I think ill have to use it in the future again. Reflection- There are other times where I had to step out of my comfort zone but that was just one of them.

Oct 6- Write about a dream that felt real.

Response- I dreamed that me and my friend went to six flags. It felt like it was actually happening until I woke up. Summary- I think that when we want something it stays in our brain and appears in our dreams because we think about it so much. It ended up coming true and me and my friend did in fact go to six flags. Reflection- I wonder if people dream about the future. If dreams are a manifestation or just our brains making ideas while we sleep.

Reflection- I wonder if doctors ever get sick of trying to make vaccines, it seems very difficult
