Feb 10-Prompt: Today, you learned how to complete a rhetorical analysis planning guide step by step, from identifying the rhetorical situation to analyzing devices and effects. Reflect on one step of the rhetorical analysis process that helped you understand the process more clearly. Explain what you learned during that step and how it improved your ability to analyze a speaker’s message.

 Response- The rubric for how to write all the paragraphs helped me assemble my essay and understand the steps for clearly. Going over it in class also helped me understand how to assemble the paragraph.

Summary- Paragraph rubric helped me the most.

Reflection-  In class we worked on the planning sheet for the essay.

sep 22- Write about a time when you were judged unfairly.

 Response- A time I was wrongfully judged was when I first started working at chick-fila. WE were understaffed and I was working at my register alone and there was a line. The guy I was swerving wanted to change his order and to cancel out his original order I needed the manager key card. But I couldn't find the manager and while I was waiting a lady in line had been giving nasty comments and looking at me weird. She would yell things like "They need some more people from the back of what's this little girl doing upfront by herself". Once I had finally got the key card and I could help the next guest, when it was her turn she had given me a dirty look and asked if it was my first day.
