April 17-Political cartoons often use exaggeration and symbolism to make a point, and they can also serve as important visual sources for analysis. What is being criticized in this image? What does this source suggest about the issue, and what does the cartoonist want the audience to question or reconsider?

Reponse- The image represents trump sending out ice to harass and deport innocent people, and then try to use Iran attacking Israel as a distraction to make ice seem irrelevant. Both situations are very terrible but the main image is focused on ice and the "Big Beautiful Bill" while trump is off to the side pointing and shouting about the attacks trying to throw off the audience.

Summary- I feel like this image representing the events right now really good.

Reflection- In class we had a fire drill and then studied how to research properly and the steps.

Response- I don't know why, but metaphors are always harder for me to come up with then similes. I struggle a little on being creative with metaphors, but I improved a little after working on the worksheet. Summary- I struggled with creating metaphors. Reflection- In class we worked on our simile and metaphor worksheet. I also worked on a digital poster.
