Aug 11th- Write about a time you felt connected to nature, like the kinship in Native American myths.

Prompt Response: In 8th grade I was in the woods with my friends and we had found a stray  kitten. Luckily it didn't have rabies and I had bonded with the kitten and I had gotten food to feed it. At that moment I feel like I had connected to the kitten, wildlife, and it reminds me of the kinship from the Native American myths. 

Summary: This situation reminded me how Native Americans had kinship between nature, wildlife such as animals, and the land.

Reflection: In class I learned about how native Americans had a kinship between nature and animals/ wildlife. I also learned how they had told their stories vocally.

sep 22- Write about a time when you were judged unfairly.

 Response- A time I was wrongfully judged was when I first started working at chick-fila. WE were understaffed and I was working at my register alone and there was a line. The guy I was swerving wanted to change his order and to cancel out his original order I needed the manager key card. But I couldn't find the manager and while I was waiting a lady in line had been giving nasty comments and looking at me weird. She would yell things like "They need some more people from the back of what's this little girl doing upfront by herself". Once I had finally got the key card and I could help the next guest, when it was her turn she had given me a dirty look and asked if it was my first day. I have a lot of stories of customers being rude and entitled summary- In this situation it wasn't my fault because I needed the key card and couldn't find my manager and she didn't need to be making all those comments over a 3 minute wait.
