Aug 15th- Analyze how you’ve adapted to the demands of this course over the past week, and evaluate one strength and one challenge you anticipate as we progress, justifying your insights with personal examples.

 Prompt Response: I've gotten used to this class and doing the blog posts. Everyday I make sure that I've finished the blog posts for the day. And I've even gotten into the habit of analyzing texts more. But when I have work it can be a challenge to get every assignment done because I have other classwork to complete.

Summary: I'm slowly adapting to the class and getting my work done this week.

Reflection: In this class I have learned a few skills such as analyzing texts and really thinking about the meaning behind things. I've also learned a few terms like origin myths.

 Response- One time I this guy wanted my number and I didn't like him but I gave it to him anyways. But then my friends started saying how I shouldn't have and was sitting he could get info from my number.  Summary- I didn't want to keep texting him because he was starting to weird me out so I just told him my messages were glitching when he asked why I wasn't texting him and I blocked him. Reflection- There were also times where I tried to get my mom to check me out before a pop quiz but it didn't work. But after blocking him I felt better and stopped worrying the situation.

Sep 5- You are currently working on a soundtrack for selected Emily Dickinson poems. With that in mind, if asked to choose a song to describe your life right now, which song would you select and why?

 Response- I would choose the song "New Person, Same Old Mistakes" By Tame Impala, to describe my life. I chose the song because by the title it tells everything. Summary- I have changed as a person since when I first started out in high school but I feel like I have still repeated the same types of bad decisions. But as of now I'm in a good place, the song has an upbeat rhythm to it and the lyrics are really relatable. Reflection- I am happy where I am now, but in the future I hope I can relate to a better song.
