Nov 7-Thinking about “The Rockpile,” which parent or guardian in your life has been the strictest when it comes to discipline? Explain how their approach to discipline has influenced you or shaped your behavior.

 Response- My dad is the strictest parent when it comes to discipline. Its definitely helped me be more independent but I also don't agree with a lot of the things he wants for me.

Summary- I think it's important for parents to be strict though, it's better than parents who don't care or don't put in the effort.

Reflection- When I'm a parent I'm going to be less strict than my dad but if I have a kid I will have rules to keep her/him safe and show discipline when needed.

 Response- A time I was wrongfully judged was when I first started working at chick-fila. WE were understaffed and I was working at my register alone and there was a line. The guy I was swerving wanted to change his order and to cancel out his original order I needed the manager key card. But I couldn't find the manager and while I was waiting a lady in line had been giving nasty comments and looking at me weird. She would yell things like "They need some more people from the back of what's this little girl doing upfront by herself". Once I had finally got the key card and I could help the next guest, when it was her turn she had given me a dirty look and asked if it was my first day. I have a lot of stories of customers being rude and entitled summary- In this situation it wasn't my fault because I needed the key card and couldn't find my manager and she didn't need to be making all those comments over a 3 minute wait.
