Dec 12- Write about something you’ve outgrown but still miss.

 Response- Something I've outgrown but miss is my childhood. I miss being carefree with no worries and being tiny. I had a lot of good memories as a kid and when I didn't have to worry about my future.

Summary- But I've grown since being a kid, more specifically being in elementary school. 

Reflection- We've talked about this topic a lot because of a poem we read in class so I'm pretty sure everyone is familiar of the feeling of growing out of being a kid.

 Response- One time I this guy wanted my number and I didn't like him but I gave it to him anyways. But then my friends started saying how I shouldn't have and was sitting he could get info from my number.  Summary- I didn't want to keep texting him because he was starting to weird me out so I just told him my messages were glitching when he asked why I wasn't texting him and I blocked him. Reflection- There were also times where I tried to get my mom to check me out before a pop quiz but it didn't work. But after blocking him I felt better and stopped worrying the situation.

Sep 5- You are currently working on a soundtrack for selected Emily Dickinson poems. With that in mind, if asked to choose a song to describe your life right now, which song would you select and why?

 Response- I would choose the song "New Person, Same Old Mistakes" By Tame Impala, to describe my life. I chose the song because by the title it tells everything. Summary- I have changed as a person since when I first started out in high school but I feel like I have still repeated the same types of bad decisions. But as of now I'm in a good place, the song has an upbeat rhythm to it and the lyrics are really relatable. Reflection- I am happy where I am now, but in the future I hope I can relate to a better song.
