Dec 5- Choose one moment from the film that stood out to you and explain why. Then, connect the film’s message to Langston Hughes’ poem “I, Too” and to the mask you are creating in class. What part of your identity do you want your mask to reveal?

Response- A scene that stuck out to me was when the girl took off her mask and proudly walked the halls without one while everyone else just watched her with their masks on. It symbolizes that she had finally accepted who she was and stopped trying to be something she wasn't.

Summary- The short film connects to the poem because the characters both end up being proud of who they are in the end and have the same moral messages.

Reflection- I want my mask to reveal who I am as a person for my identity assignment.
