Feb 2-Describe a real moment in your life that felt like the beginning of a powerful story. Tell what happened, and why it felt like a turning point in your life?

Response- A moment in my life that felt like a powerful event was meeting my best friend. She altered my life the moment I met her and I remember the first time she stood up for me, in that moment I knew she was going to be one of the most important people to me. I had never been close with any girls before her like that, because of past betrayals but she had really changed me and the way I view things for the better.

Summary- A moment that turned into a powerful story was me realizing I had found my best friend.

Reflection- In class we all made a paragraph on martin Luther King's "I have a dream" speech, which required three components: chose a rhetorical device, make a claim/ provide evidence and provide commentary.
