Feb 24- Prompt: Today you created similes and metaphors that reflect your struggles, growth, and resilience. In a well-developed paragraph, reflect on the process. What did you learn about yourself while writing your figurative language?

Responses- While doing the assignment, I found out creative ways to describe myself and my experiences through similes and metaphors. For example one of the smilies I wrote was "People criticize me before knowing me, just like judging a book by its cover.". This one I find really relatable because it happens to me a lot. Most people I don't even know assume the worst of me or believe random rumors about me before even talking to me. But in other metaphors I wrote it reminded me of times I improved in certain things.

Summary- Writing similes and metaphors helped me understand myself better.

Reflection- In class we created our own 12 metaphors and similes.
