March 17-Prompt: Chris chooses independence over relationships. When have you chosen to be on your own instead of relying on others? What happened, and would you make the same choice again?

 Response- During my freshman year I used to rely on my best friend a lot for advice. I would never listen to her and get myself in trouble and after a while she started getting annoyed and didn't care if I didn't take her advice. It made me feel bad and I decided to start thinking like her and make my own choices. I would make the same choices, because I've been doing that ever since.

Summary- I started making my own decisions instead of relying on my friend to help me.

Reflection- In class we worked on into the wild book.

sep 22- Write about a time when you were judged unfairly.

 Response- A time I was wrongfully judged was when I first started working at chick-fila. WE were understaffed and I was working at my register alone and there was a line. The guy I was swerving wanted to change his order and to cancel out his original order I needed the manager key card. But I couldn't find the manager and while I was waiting a lady in line had been giving nasty comments and looking at me weird. She would yell things like "They need some more people from the back of what's this little girl doing upfront by herself". Once I had finally got the key card and I could help the next guest, when it was her turn she had given me a dirty look and asked if it was my first day. I have a lot of stories of customers being rude and entitled summary- In this situation it wasn't my fault because I needed the key card and couldn't find my manager and she didn't need to be making all those comments over a 3 minute wait.
