March 23-Think about a moment when your understanding of your family changed as you got older. How did that shift impact your perspective, and how does that connect to Chris’s realization about his parents in Chapter 11?

 Response- When growing up I slowly realized that my parents had lied about certain things to cover up how I saw them. It was about what they did but the principle, and it was things they didn't even have to keep from me because of my age, they just straight out lied for no reason and it made me see them differently.

Summary- My parents lied about things which made me see them differently just like how Chris started to see his family from another perspective.

Reflection- In class we read chapter 11

 Response- A time I was wrongfully judged was when I first started working at chick-fila. WE were understaffed and I was working at my register alone and there was a line. The guy I was swerving wanted to change his order and to cancel out his original order I needed the manager key card. But I couldn't find the manager and while I was waiting a lady in line had been giving nasty comments and looking at me weird. She would yell things like "They need some more people from the back of what's this little girl doing upfront by herself". Once I had finally got the key card and I could help the next guest, when it was her turn she had given me a dirty look and asked if it was my first day. I have a lot of stories of customers being rude and entitled summary- In this situation it wasn't my fault because I needed the key card and couldn't find my manager and she didn't need to be making all those comments over a 3 minute wait.
