March 24-Based on the first 40 minutes of the film and Chapters 1–11 of the book, does the visual version of Chris’s journey make his choices seem more justified or more reckless than the text does? Explain how the medium (film vs writing) shapes your perspective.

Response- The film makes his actions more justifiable, right from the start we see things in order, how Chris experienced things and how his family and the outside world treated him. But in the book there are huge time skips which creates more questions and mysterious which alters how people perceive Chris.

Summary- The film makes Chris's actions more justifiable.

Reflection- In class we watched the film adaptation of "Into The Wild"

Response- I don't know why, but metaphors are always harder for me to come up with then similes. I struggle a little on being creative with metaphors, but I improved a little after working on the worksheet. Summary- I struggled with creating metaphors.
