April 2-In your blog post, analyze how his desire for independence contributed to his death. Then, connect this idea to your own life by explaining a time when you wanted complete independence or control over a situation. Did things go as planned, or did you face unexpected challenges?

 Response- Chris wants to prove to himself that he can be independently so badly, that he refuses help and wont go back to the point where he ends up accepting his death. One time I refused to accept help on my math homework. I ended up failing the homework assignment and after that I let my mom help me with my problems.

Summary- Chris's refusal for help led to his death. 

Reflection- In class we read the book Into The Wild

Response- I don't know why, but metaphors are always harder for me to come up with then similes. I struggle a little on being creative with metaphors, but I improved a little after working on the worksheet. Summary- I struggled with creating metaphors. Reflection- In class we worked on our simile and metaphor worksheet. I also worked on a digital poster.
